We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the following position:Position: Senior Vice President, Finance Center of Excellence (COE)Duration: Full Time PermanentLocation: Whippany, NJ - 07981Our client is looking for a very Sr. Financial Shared Services leader with large company and modern tech experience. Experience with Oracle ERP or other ERP, and strong experience with IFRS-16, Internal Control, Compliance and Audit.Overseeing a team of approximately 4 direct and 45 people and reporting to the Corporate Vice President, Finance- Treasurer this is an excellent opportunity for a superlative finance professional with outstanding leadership abilities.ResponsibilitiesProvide operational and strategic leadership of the function while supporting corporate business objectives and managing to budget requirementsLead day-to-day operational activities of the function including accounts receivable, billing, credit and collectionsEstablish and manage productivity and performance SLAs, KPIs, and dashboard reports; ensure metrics are captured and reported to senior management Benchmark (as applicable) against best-in-class to drive competitive performance.Work directly with leadership and field operations to define expected outcomes, identify issues, and resolve through corrective actionSupport improvements in the function and business by providing subject matter expertise on business requirement definition, process design, implementation of process and organizational changes, and timing of impacted processes across all teamsAnalyze business processes, identify opportunities, and drive projects to further improve department processes and systems, with a specific focus on quality, cashflow (incl. DSO), efficiency, responsiveness, cost containment, and standardization of work.Position the department to sustain performance through changing circumstances such as process changes, system upgrades, or the integration of an acquisition. Understand and apply change management best practices to successfully embed changesArticulate the vision of the function and ensure that the team understands and embraces their ability to impact the delivery of our strategy.Leads with integrity and models for others a collaborative and inclusive leadership styleTravel approximately 25%RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. CPA, Master’s degree or MBA a definite plusAt least 10-12 years of significant, progressive responsibilities within related functional areas managing teams in a large multi-national environment. Direct previous management experience in a shared service environment is required.Strong commercial acumen and customer service focus with ability to understand how the business operates and the upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by shared services.Experience in developing and leading project teams focused on process alignment and improvementExperience in creating and interpreting metrics representing functional performance, benchmarking goals, and comparative outcomesAbility to transform strategic goals into tactical project plans, including ability to track within defined timelinesCareer history demonstrating delivery of projects/assignments as evidence of driving value to the function in previous roles.
