- Track and drive project
- Develops project approach, scope, timeline, budget/project estimation, and overall staffing model
- Drives project delivery and support
- Provides escalation management
- Gathers requirements
- Assigns and manages project resources
- Controls project budget, expenses and scope
- Identify and manage key risks and develop mitigation plans
- Ambassador to coordinate activities and communication across company lines
- Resolve cross-team issues in a timely manner
- Tactical execution of work plans
- Manages project relationships (business, vendors). Uses functional, business, and technical knowledge to deliver the best solution
- Must be on-site in Charlotte for working hours at some point during the contract but for now is 100% remote. Also must be able to work with a global, virtual team
- Experience leading large, cross-functional technical projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate to all audiences, including Senior Leadership
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office Applications
- Proven experience in managing large scale enterprise projects and writing technical specifications
- Excellent at planning and tracking progress against milestones and plans
- Ability to manage many “Spinning Plates” and keep track of several concurrent initiatives is key
- Maturity, judgment, negotiation skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills to drive successful project management
- Must have 10+ years of solid project management (not analyst or coordinator roles) or leadership experience
- 5+ years of Program Management is preferred.
- Must have 5+ years of cybersecurity project management experience
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologiesMust have excellent communication skills: written email, word, PowerPoint and verbal presentations.
- Must also have executive communication skills and polished executive presence
- Being able to understand, at a high level, the cybersecurity risk control constructs and how this work reduces risk for the organization
- Degree in a Computer Science field or relevant experience
