Release manager will be responsible for supporting tasks related to the release management life cycle, focusing on coordinating various aspects of lower lanes and production releases for US Regulatory Reporting systems. These tasks include but not limited to: scope discussion with scrum teams, deployment activities coordination with tech leads, change request creation, handover planning with deployment teams and deployment coordination across all teams. Further responsibilities: -Plan, manage and coordinate all activities associated with regular release cycles of the Americas Regulatory Reporting platform. -Coordinate with other teams to ensure the timely release of secure, high quality software on a regular cadence. -Create release notes and communicate release details to internal and external constituents. -Develop schedules, checklists and processes for all activities associated with a release. -Drive a process of continuous improvements around releases Ensure the highest level of security and quality in all the software that is delivered Should be flexible to support evening and weekend deployment activities as needed. Qualifications: -Previous experience with managing releases for complex system, functional knowledge of Runbook creation and technology components/environment - Oracle, .Net, ETL -5-7 years' plus of previous software release management experience on large data platforms with multiple scrum teams -Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle and modern Agile development practices -Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion -Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must - looking for people who communicate verbally and written direct and to the point but polite. -Proficiency with all the tools used in a modern software development organization including Jira, Confluence, Ansible, Artifactory
