IT Application Developer / Project Manager

Description:6 months.Our client is seeking an IT Applications Developer with project management experience to assist with the implementation, testing, and roll out of a fully featured budgeting and planning software with multiple modules for operating, salaries, capital performance, and transparency/visualization.

Responsibilities:
  • Work within Project Management paradigms
  • Work on most phases of systems while keeping in mind the business and technical implications of the application of technology for current and future business needs
  • Create process change through integration of new processes with existing ones
  • Communicate changes to business users
  • Develop and modify complex information and expedite the delivery of technical business solutions
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives
  • Analyze business and user needs
  • Document requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Recommend and organize quality improvement efforts

Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
  • At least 3 years of related experience
  • Strong Project Management experience
  • Strong SQL query skills and experience with relational databases and advanced query tools (knowledge jggof. Putty, Netezza preferred)
  • Experience implementing cloud-based solutions (i.e. Oracle, Questica, SAP, Anaplan)
  • Hands on experience writing database queries and navigating database schemas to support analysis effort
  • Fluent in MS Access, MS Excel, and Oracle with ability to articulate data and solutions leveraging these tools
  • Familiarity with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) a plus
  • Knowledge of web service and database technologies a plus
