Full service accounting firm is seeking a seasonal, full-time tax preparer for the upcoming tax season. Candidates with the appropriate skill set may be offered a permanent position after tax season. Experience with business software including QuickBooks, ProSeries, Microsoft Office as well as excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and positive demeanor are required. Hours are 8-5, M-F.
Duties include:
Personal/Corporate tax preparation
Professional communication with clients, both verbal and written
Compliance with federal, state & local legal and regulatory requirements
Attention to detail, confidentiality and thoroughness
Research capabilities specific to task
Organization and time management
DependabilityRequirements:
+5 years experience in tax preparation
Current PTIN; up to date tax law knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
Professionally friendly demeanor
Ability to multi-task
Self-starter requiring little supervision
