The MIG Robot Weld Helper will be responsible for helping Operator in daily operations of Robotic Weld machines ensuring parts are processed in a prompt manner while meeting production goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Identifying work in progress with work order sheets and reporting their operation as complete.

Work in a safe manner, in accordance with safety policies and procedures and reporting potential or actual hazards to the health and safety representative.

Work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities.

Assisting the Quality Assurance Department with any concerns or problems.

Allocating materials in and out of Robot weld area.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.

Follow all company rules and policies.

Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Organize items as instructed by shift leader or floor supervisor.

Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.

Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Solid background working with sheet metal.

Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.

Ability to distinguish material types and thicknesses.

Flexible schedule is required, position requires shift work and some weekends.

Candidate must be a strong team player.

Candidate must be reliable.

Knowledge of lifting techniques

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to lift heavy items

REQUIRED SKILL/ QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to lift to 50 lbs

Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen
