OverviewThe Director of Capture and Proposal Management leads the corporate-level business development activities and all internal and external marketing efforts to achieve long and short-term revenue and marketing goals. Click here to learn about BRMi's culture.Responsibilities

  • Direct the Capture and Proposal team in all responses to RFx and TOs and act as Capture and/or Proposal Manager when required
  • Develop and implement business development lifecycle processes and tasks and manage roles and responsibilities to align with company resources and maturity
  • Grow and mentor a Capture, Proposal, Business Development, and Marketing Team
  • Serve as the company Small Business teaming liaison and point of contact
  • Maintain validated data in company’s CRM system
  • Assist with building a long-term (pre-Identify) pipeline to support 4-year company revenue goals
  • Lead efforts to position BRMi as a recognized industry leader via internal and external marketing efforts
  • Develop and manage all corporate-held contract vehicles and Vehicle Management Plans (FSS, GWAC IDIQs and those IDIQs and BPAs designated by CFO as corporate-held)
  • Align and develop the Capture and Proposal Team as a Service Center to support the sales team, executives, finance, recruiting, HR, contracts departments (and others) as needed
  • Participate in, contribute to, and execute company strategic planning to accomplish revenue goals
  • Identify, support, and manage marketing activities including social media, whitepapers, collateral, website content, industry events, and internal marketing efforts
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in Federal Government proposal development
  • 3+ years in a proposal management role
  • Knowledge of the proposal development life cycle and understanding of Shipley or other proposal development processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to deliverables
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team leader
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Highly organized, team-oriented, enthusiastic, independent thinker, and collaborative
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
