Sales Engineer (Cloud & Cyber)

- Create customized product demonstrations for prospective customers and partners (virtual & in person)
- Provide deep technical support to the business development team and customers throughout the sales cycle
- Identify customers’ technical challenges and needs and design a customized selling strategy
- Develop internal cloud solutions and technical presentations for key stakeholders, customers and senior executives
- Work with clients to identify problems, needs and suggest appropriate cloud and infrastructure corrective measures
- Respond to requests for proposals and requests for information from prospects & customers
- Provide customers with up to date information about the product, pricing and licensing model
- Research competing products and provided competitor analysis reports to the marketing and development teamsGenerate, qualify, manage, and provide technical assistance to help close deals
- Produce and provide presentations at industry and corporate events
- Knowledge, proficiency and certifications in one or more Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Previous background in a technical customer-oriented position
- Outstanding presentation skills and experience in the delivery of complex technical and sales-oriented presentations
- Relevant knowledge of current and emerging infrastructure technologies
- Solid time management skills with the ability to plan, organize and implement multiple initiatives and deadline-driven workloads while consistently providing outstanding customer service
- Detail-oriented, proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in cloud storage and network systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience with fundamental storage concepts: filesystems, backup, cloning, snapshotting, logical volume management, disk encryption
- Must have IT security focus; experience working on security-centric solutions helpful
- Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail
