Working from our corporate office in West Palm Beach, Florida, the Business Applications Administrator will be responsible for providing management, administration, and support of mission critical business systems across Michael Aram Inc. This role is part of a team that operates as the primary application support for our internal users and encompasses a diverse departmental technology stack that includes sales, eCommerce, operations, logistics, warehouse, and office management. This role will report to the IT Director. Essential Functions
  • SAP Business One administration
  • Microsoft SQL administration including scripting and backup/restore procedures
  • New user system setup (e.g., SAP, POS) and training
  • Administration of integration between various systems (SAP, SQL, Shopify, POS, etc)
  • Managing/resolving user support calls/tickets
  • Server monitoring, maintenance and backups.
  • Maintenance and updates to intranet and web servers
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of reporting portal
  • Create and update automated reports on business requirements
  • Performing local & remote support for hardware & various applications
  • Setup & troubleshooting for handheld order entry devices and ship stations

Requirements
  • SAP Business One experience (2-4 years preferred)
  • Microsoft SQL experience (2-4 years preferred)
  • Produmex exposure (1-3 years preferred)
  • Exposure to Microsoft IIS
  • Experience with Windows Server a plus
  • Experience with Retail POS a plus
  • Experience with Shopify a plus

Physical Requirements/ADA
  • Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
  • Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
  • Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
  • Job occasionally requires bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting to 50 pounds.
  • May require occasional driving and/or traveling overnight for business functions or site visits.
