Job Description :
  • The Engagement Manager will own the delivery governance structure, schedules, and resource management across the Portfolio of projects.
  • They are responsible for running all Portfolio-project delivery service management review meetings and ensure all processes and documentation are in place for overall project portfolio management.
  • Work with the delivery team to execute on contract terms and conditions and to ensure on-time delivery of projects that support the client's business providing continuity in project delivery and acts as an advocate for the client within client.
  • They support the business by taking responsibility for overall project delivery for medium to large complex client projects across the Value and Volume channel.
  • The candidate's personality profile must be resilient, not afraid to hold the client accountable while keeping the client relationship intact. Must be good with contract management, find mutual ground for contract interpretations, and find a win-win solution for both parties in a dispute scenario.
  • Must be confident, not arrogant.
  • Must be professional and have a high degree of business acumen.
  • This person will not be required to do project and program management activities.
  • But will be accountable and responsible for setting up a reoccurring SteerCo meeting and producing the minutes of the meeting.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Portfolio's performance and key measurements including Services GP revenue, GP%, client satisfaction, as well as forecasting utilisation information.
  • Works to continually optimise margin, minimise variable expenses including percentage of direct resources vs. contractors, associate utilisation and efficiency, overtime, travel costs, and optimising the cost of sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships at all levels of the organisation to maximise client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Becomes the key liaison for international relations with regions on projects and programs. Holds International Program Office (IPO) accountable for integration management with regions and regional pricing.
  • Receive and manage change requests relating to the SOW and agreement, i.e. additional engagements/ projects, adding configuration items and IT services support to the Services (service coverage), moving configuration items and IT services to new or different locations etc. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Demonstrated success in strategic thinking, planning and implementation. Experienced in managing complex clients with multiple touch points.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients

Work Experience Required:
  • +10 years in a project delivery management role (or equivalent) to include leading a global focused services organisation (with a specific focus on client satisfaction and client profitability).
  • Extensive project / program management experience preferably in a multi-national Professional Services environment Academic

Qualifications and Certifications:
  • ITIL certification Advanced Business and / or Project Management degree or equivalent with extensive related experience.
  • Relevant project management certifications, preferably PMP
