- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Manages project status and information in the form of formal briefings, project update meetings, and written, electronic, and graphic reports
- Develops, maintains, and manages agile software delivery plans, action item registers, and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects
- Manages all assigned teams/projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintenance of overall project ownership
- Acts as a single point of contact for team/project status. Maintains communication with stakeholders
- Facilitates project and team meetings
- Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management. Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised in an open, honest and respectful manner with an emphasis of understanding, resolution and problem solving.
- Shield team from outside distractions, interference and forces which negatively impact velocity
- Tracks, communicates, and works to remove impediments on behalf of the team
- Works with product owner and team to ensure product backlogs are always in good shape
- Ensure future sprints are defined in the backlog
- Manage external dependencies impacting story sprint planning readiness
- Helps team and/or individuals to clarify, action on and achieve goals
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- 1-2 years Project Management experience in software development environment
- 3+ years of experience as a technical analyst or project coordination, with the aspiration to be a project manager, is also acceptable
- Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
- Ability to analyze risks and provide mitigation plans
- Self-motivated and passionate about building a world-class products and experiences
- Ability to collaborate and communicate complex, technical concepts across all levels of the organization.
