FinanceThe Finance team is responsible for all aspects of the corporate finance organization, including strategy, implementation, enterprise risk management and internal audit, treasury, tax, procurement and investor relations. ResponsibilitiesPerspecta is hiring for a mid-level Program Finance Analyst within our Defense Group/Army Segment. The mid-level Program Financial Analyst will be well versed in all aspects of program financial management with the ability to manage numerous projects. Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following:-Perform analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements.-Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management.-Defines and develops key performance indicators; analyzing and interpreting financial and operational performance, and tracks key operational objectives and strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and profitability for programs, account, and segment.-Analyzes financial information to produce monthly forecasts, long range planning, support monthly closing cycle, internal and external reporting.-Assembles spreadsheets, draw charts, and graphs used to illustrate financial performance.-Conducts periodic status checks with program team and potentially customer to assess progress against plan, invoice payment status, etc.-Completion of EAC's, backlog analysis and reporting, balance sheet analysis, risk and opportunity identification, and preparation of ad hoc financial analysis and status reports.-Reviews and analyzes monthly financial statements, and quarterly and annual financial data in support of the SEC filings, as well as preparation of internal management analyses.-May also coordinate, negotiate and resolve financial compliance issues with various internal and external customers to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.-Researches new policies and regulations and projects the effect that the same could have on the Company and its financials.-Responsible for evaluating the risk in portfolio decisions, forecasting potential losses, and deciding how to curb potential losses and volatility using diversification, currency futures, derivatives, short selling, and other investment decisions.-May also perform research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements.-Develops and implements fiscal operating policies and procedures.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 to 8 years years of program financial analysis experience with or Master's Degree plus 3 to 5 years of program financial analysis experience is required
  • End-to-end program financial management experience is required
  • Costpoint experience is required
  • Experience with Cost-Plus and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Time and Materials (T&M) contract types are required
  • Government contracting industry experience is required
  • Variance Analysis Experience is required
  • Monthly Reporting Experience is required
  • Advanced Excel skills that include pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc. are required
  • Cognos reporting experience is strongly preferred
  • Hyperion planning tool experience is strongly preferred
