- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or IT related field, strongly preferred
- 3+ years previous experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager in a technical development environment, working closely with software development teams
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Commercial Real Estate or Finance experience would be a big plus
- Advanced understanding of modern software development practices and tools
- Experience in use case documentation and user-story documentation
- Ability to communicate complex topics with simple, straightforward language (both written and oral) based on the intended audience
- Demonstrable ability to effectively engage with both internal and external clients and vendors, business partners, and all team members.
- Experience managing development in application lifecycle management software such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Jira, MS Project
- Detail oriented, collaborative, excellent interpersonal skills, solid communication skills, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fluid environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Able to adapt quickly and efficiently to client-specific requirements and objectives
- Reliable and takes full responsibility for task completion
- Exceptionally well organized, with excellent follow-through skills
- Analytical, resourceful and able to multi-task with ease.
- Responsible for leading the Project Management function of VMS related projects and tasks
- Develop and manage project tasks and deliverables from start to finish
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables
- Establish and execute a project communication plan with business and development team
- Work with project team to understand and document business requirements, critically evaluate them and translate the needs into concise user stories that can be understood by software developers
- Prioritize the product backlog to align with the product vision and priorities, and write acceptance criteria for each user story
- Ability to participate in testing user stories before release
- Support review sessions to ensure the software requirements were interpreted correctly
- Develop project target landmarks and completion dates and adhere to an agreed upon schedule
- Keep system documentation and training materials up to date
- The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment
