CIO (NETWORK SECURITY)PHILADELPHIA SUBURBS, PA Project Description: The company's industry classification would be Financial Services, and while they focus on that industry, Information Technology is integrated heavily into every service they offer and gives them a competitive advantage. Some of the roles this person will be expected to fill:

  • Oversees company proprietary systems/platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversees, directs, prioritizes and manages the internal programming staff to ensure projects are executed and implemented.
  • Will act as primary lead in the advancement of organization technology (i.e. Omni Channel Communications, Machine Learning, Ai, Apps, Self Service customer payment portals, data mining).
  • Works closely with the VP of IT to ensure overall infrastructure, hardware, software, etc. is in place and operating effectively.
  • Works directly with the CEO and Operations Teams to identify areas where technological improvement is needed.
  • Oversees the development and testing of new programs developed specifically for the company.
  • Seek out vendors that may have something of value to offer to the company.
  • Reviews vendor proposals and makes decisions based on things such as price, what they offer, and how the vendor product may fit into the organization.
  • Ensures the company's data remains secure by keeping up to date on the latest cyber security threats and finds ways to guard against them on an organization-wide scale.
  • Coaches members of the IT teams, particularly IT leaders, so everyone stays on the same page across the company.
  • Communicates with other executive members to make sure all parts of the company use technology in the best ways possible.
Required Skills:
  • Master's Degree a plus, (Computer Science and Information Technology).
  • Strong Leadership.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Teaching Ability.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills.
  • Programming/Coding Background is preferred but not required.
