General Monitoring Administrator -

Location: Tempe, AZ Description: Our client is currently seeking a General Monitoring Administrator - Seeking Splunk Monitoring Admin.For immediate consideration email copy of current resume and reference job number to Amanda at This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the computer systems, server management including installing, maintaining and upgrading the servers.
• Will ensure the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access. May also produce and create reports, charts, manuals proposals and perform light programming (scripting).
• Must be able to plan, coordinate and implement software version changes and use utility tools to monitor elements of the system, such as memory, central processing unit (CPU) and program errors generated from a system or software problem.
• Must also have knowledge in systems design and configuration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Proficient with Linux administration; Proficient with Windows administration, including installing software, modifying configuration files, and agent management.
• Shell scripting (bash/ksh, grep, awk, etc.) Python a plus
• SQL - understands, can write and execute SQL statements.
• Highly efficient multi-tasker and great organization skills.
• Tripwire application admin/user. ITRS, Moogsoft, Dynatrace/Thousand eyes experience a plus, not required.
