Job TitleHR SpecialistPosition OverviewPosition Description:The HR Specialist will be responsible for working with the plant Operational and HR teams to create a valuable associate experience. More specifically, delivering HR Support across multiple levels to help achieve business objectives with a servant leader approach. Will support multiple locations across northern Georgia (L3/LG/KC/3P). The HR Specialist will effectively serve associates through high levels of interaction and thrive in showing compassion while deploying and sustaining company protocols.Primary Responsibilities:Under the direction of the HR manager, ensure that the hiring and onboarding process is executed from end-to-end for all positions

Work with managers across all facilities to acquire high caliber and qualified candidates that will meet our business objectives and bring long-term value to our organization

Ensure all hiring policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements (i.e. offer approval forms, background checks, screenings)

Drive creative and strategic flexible staffing initiatives, such as part-time and seasonal associates to meet cost-savings goals

In collaboration with the HR Manager, execute the onboarding of new hires and track their progress through the 90-day introductory period

Administer, support, facilitate and lead training, projects, meetings, and events as needed

Drive employee engagement strategies and talent management approaches that build employee development, strengthen retention, and foster success (Round table meetings, Recognition activities)

Investigate claims, complaints and concerns raised by associates, ensuring speedy resolution and follow- up as necessary to mitigate reoccurrences.

Provide additional support to the HR department as needed

Position Requirements:High School Diploma/GED

3+ years of HR-related experience

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of an organization

Proficient with Google suite or MS Office software (Sheets/Excel proficiency)

Experience with HRIS, timekeeping systems (Workday/PeopleSoft/Kronos)

Maintains a high level of confidentiality; ability to respond to sensitive inquiries

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a high level of complexityExcellent listening skills and strong interpersonal communication skills
