A local accounting and tax office is looking for an office assistant to assist general office duties. Full time.
Duties would include (but not limited to):
- Assist office staff as needed
- Answer phones
- making appointments
- compile documents
- filing/copying/scanning
- data entry as needed
- keep office clean and tidy
Skills and experience needed:
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer Service and Client Management Skills.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and be well organized.
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Excellent Data entry skills, Proper filing skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Willingness to learn.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
- Experience using Quickbooks and ATX tax software a plus
- Office experience preferred
