At The Home Depot QuoteCenter, we value diversity in all of its forms, and we work hard to support growing associate skills in a fast-paced collaborative environment.The Sr. Manager of Merchandising Strategy is responsible for developing and supporting QuoteCenter growth initiatives through partnerships with the merchant community and coordination with cross functional teams. Acts as internal consultant and thought partner within the merchant community to identify and analyze QuoteCenter growth opportunities, develop actionable strategies, and align stakeholders across the organization. Works to coordinate execution and develop metrics to monitor and communicate progress of QuoteCenter growth initiatives.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES30% Analyzing QuoteCenter Growth Opportunities30% Supporting QuoteCenter strategy development30% Coordinating Execution of QuoteCenter Growth Initiatives10% Researching QuoteCenter industry dynamicsNATURE AND SCOPEPosition reports to Director of Merchandising.This position has 2-4 direct reports.ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTSEnvironment:Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Travel:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Additional Environmental Job Requirements: < MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Additional Minimum Qualifications:Experience in the application of research findings to the retail environment.

Direct experience in the efficient analysis of extremely large datasets desired.

Extensive knowledge of statistical methods and modeling.

Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.Years of Relevant Work Experience: 6 yearsPhysical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree highly desirable; MBA preferred.

PRO &/or Retail Industry experience and knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Ability to assimilate extensive amounts of data to see the big picture and understand all of the detail supporting the analysis.

Project management, leadership and solid ability to problem-solve creatively.

Solid organizational skills, analytical ability to work with processes, numbers and statistics.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
