Responsible for operational oversight and supervision of Pediatric Practice Solutions (PPS) primary care practices and departments as assigned as well as a clinical staff function for all PPS practices.ResponsibilitiesAdministrative supervision and operational oversight for three to five primary care practices and the Telephone Triage Department: Duties include, but are not limited to, routine meetings with physicians and managers, assisting with personnel interviews and progressive discipline, preparing physician productivity reports, analysis of financial trends (revenues, expenses, etc.) and other duties as needed.

Manage Incentive Based payor programs, including but not limited to, Blue Cross Blue Shield Primary Care Select Program /Value Based reimbursement and monitor the Physician Performance Assessment reports for all PPS practices. Work with Network representatives to communicate information to Physicians. Monitor quarterly updates and maintain spreadsheets on all physicians in PPS as appropriate. Conduct education sessions as needed for practice managers, physicians and staff.

Creation and production of routine reports relevant to PPS trends in staff function area. Perform analysis of relevant financial and clinical data as needed.

Identify, initiate and facilitate performance improvement activities at the PPS division level.

Represent PPS in COA nursing committees/functions (Shared Governance Management Council and Practice Council; Nursing Excellence Week and Awards; NDNQI survey, etc.)

Represent PPS on various clinical committees (Radiation Safety Committee; Medical Evaluation Team; ECRI reporting; etc.)

Be a CPR Instructor and coordinate renewals for all practices

Be point of contact for quarterly chart and medication audits as well as for NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home.

Coordinate delivery of corporate services from the COA to individual practices, and other duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Experience:Bachelors’ degree, plus five (5) years experience in physician practice management required. Additional experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis

Clinical background required, RN preferred

Masters preferred, MSHA/MBA or comparable degree
