Description KIHOMAC is expanding its Maryland operations and is seeking entry, mid and senior-level Electrical and Mechanical Engineers with experience in Metrology. Candidates should have hands on and experience with aircraft system test, maintenance and diagnostics equipment. Successful candidates will be independent self-starters with interest and experience in design, development and application of electronic tests and measurement equipment and systems. The position supports work on programs and projects in our Space & Electronics Group and other divisions. Programs supported include electronic warfare, test and space launch range ground programs, electronic system sustainment engineering and re-engineering, and development of test and calibration systems and procedures. We are seeking engineers at all levels of experience.Incumbents will engage in a broad range of engineering work including concept development, design, specification, integration, test, calibration and technical documentation. Work includes modeling and simulation of circuits, components and system performance. Work requires hands on experience with electronic design and analysis tools and a broad range of test and measuring equipment such as signal analyzers, digital logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, modulators, signal sources, amplifiers and other equipment. Responsibilities include developing proto-types, conducting internal research and development and providing support on technical solutions and proposals. Successful candidates will work directly with customer and in-house engineering teams.

Requirements
  • Education/Training:
    • BS degree in aerospace, computer, electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering required
    • Master's Degree in Engineering, Science, Management or Business preferred. May substitute this requirement with 4 years additional relevant experience
  • Experience:
    • Seeking engineers at all levels of experience
    • Operation and application of electronic test and measurement equipment
