GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity in San Francisco, CA for a Director of Product Management. This would be a Full-time opportunity. Interviews will be conducted through phone and video conference. Work will start remote until Covid-19 has been cleared for employees to work onsite in San Francisco. Job Description:-As a Director of Product Management’s role is to inspire, lead and continue to build excellent products and features within or across Company’s Lines of Business. Product management is focused on delivering an excellent product experience, so the successful candidate will collaborate intensely with dedicated engineering teams to deliver high-quality and high-impact products for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated talent for inspiring and leading high performing teams, a talent for creating and communicating a product vision and the judgement to prioritize and implement that vision with urgency.-In this role, you will lead the creation and execution of cross-cutting product solutions, go-to-market strategies, business relationships, and more in bringing out our Company to the forefront of fintech technological advancement. You will work closely with our engineering teams, business strategy teams, and executive teams to deliver the next phase of financial products. Responsibilities:- Partner with Business Product Managers to define product vision and strategy, identify market opportunities, and build business cases for our Company products.- Understand user/business requirements and collaborate and execute with engineers and business owners to deliver on them.- Practice and reinforce conventions that align with product management industry best practices within Compan’s line of business.- Move forward a product mindset at the bank by contributing to a ‘center of excellence’ for Product Management that ensures compliance with agreed upon conventions for Product Management across the enterprise and aligns with the bank’s customer centric culture.- Exhibit a user-first mentality, putting the Company’s user at the heart of everything you do.- Creating innovative features and functionality that will result in differentiated experiences that better reflect the brand visions and specific user problems.- Establish regular and transparent communication that allow for two-way collaboration between the business and technical teams.- Identify and measure KPIs such as Conversion Rate, NPS, Visit Frequency, and many more that show progress against workstream initiatives, communicating progress broadly and often. Qualifications- At least seven years of outstanding product leadership experience in a software-based business or ability to demonstrate equivalent expertise.- At least 3 years of experience leading a product management team.- At least 5 to 7 years’ experience working directly with Engineers in a Software Engineering culture.- At least 5 to 7 years’ experience running projects using an Agile project methodology and developing high performing cross-functional teams.- Superior problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate innovative and effective actions plans to resolve issues- Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate to internal customers, vendors, business and technical stakeholders.- A demonstrated ability to influence and listen to others. Comfortable communicating with executive leadership.- Practical knowledge and real-world experience building secure applications a plus but not required—e.g. SSAE 18 SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.- Experience working with Atlassian tools: Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, BitBucket, etc. extremely valuable but not required.- Technical development experience extremely valuable but not required.- PMP, Product Owner, or Scrum Master certification helpful but not required.- BA required. MBA preferred. Job Demands:- Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.
