Summary of Position: The TPM I is responsible for managing one or multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for reviewing and creating User Stories on project-wide level. Depending on the project, you may be required to be onsite at the client.

Essential Functions:
  • Design, develop, and create documentation for computer systems or programs based on business, client, and functional requirements
  • Review and provide input on test strategy, defect reports and other deliverables created by test leads and testers
  • Ensure team follows company policies and procedures for change management, incident management, release management, disaster recovery, and security
  • Strong understanding of backend computer system infrastructure and program design
  • Troubleshoot technical systems or software issues experienced during testing or reported by customers and exercise independent judgment and discretion to determine strong solutions
  • Create, analyze, and manage user stories
  • Proficient use of JIRA, Rally, and/or Quality Center for user story management.
  • Ensure reporting meets established client processes and procedures
  • Communicate and interact with all levels of staff, including various business groups and senior leadership, to coordinate project deliverables, including leading meetings and ensuring timely delivery of status reports
  • Managing, mentoring and training of assigned resources
  • Conduct lessons learned post-deployment
  • Implement process improvement based on customer feedback and lessons learned
  • Create and maintain staff capacity plans on a monthly basis

  • Work Environment: This position is 50-100% at the client site, depending on project. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

    Required Education and Experience:
    • Associates Degree or equivalent
    • 0 - 3 Years of Experience

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s Degree preferred
    • Possess a high degree of theoretical knowledge and understanding of computer systems, programming, and software testing
    • ITQSB Qualified
    • Demonstrated experience with client server systems and understanding of technical issues that may arise in testing environments
    • Strong understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM
    • Ability to work independently and make sound discretionary judgments
    • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, the role requires proven ability to read and understand requirements
