An international top 10 new application is looking to bring on a Senior Product Designer to work on their core news reporting application. This product allows users to access unbias news, free of partisan opinion, and just see reports on facts. Additionally, users can bias their news to their political party if they wish to see news more relevant to their beliefs. The company is mission-driven to clearing the fog of todays reporting, and provide users to real news in real-time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for media and be excited about their mission to provide users with unbias news from their smartphones. The application is currently in Apple's top 5 news apps so being experienced in designing consumer mobile experiences used by hundreds of thousands of users will be essential to success! The team is distributed internationally so being comfortable working with different time zones will play a crucial part in this role. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years as Product Designer, creating and shipping consumer products/features in-house
- A portfolio that displays a strong understanding of user centered design
- Proven ability as a data driven designer
- Analytical thinker who can think of outside of the box
- Ability to create pixel perfect mockups
- Experience working on popular consumer mobile applications
- 100% Hands On Product Design
