A tech company in the hospitality space in San Francisco is looking to bring on a Lead Product Designer to join their growing team. They are a two-sided marketplace place where hospitality business and skilled workers can find each other. Business can use them to find skilled workers when they are low staffed and workers can use them to gain some extra cash. As their product has a web and native mobile counterpart, experience designing for both will be essential for success in this role. Additionally, having domain knowledge in the gig economy/marketplace spaces would be a huge plus! The first few projects will focus on new features, UI improvements, and eventually creating a design system. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of designing marketplace applications
- Experience designing across mobile and web
- A portfolio that displays a strong understanding of traditional design fundamentals
- Experience designing for a marketplace
- Knowledge about the hospitality space
- 75% Visual / UI
- 25% UX
- Competitive Salary: 160k, DOE
