Description The Creative Group has a client in need of a UX/UI Designer to expand on an existing global application (both web and mobile) by building more features based upon conducted user research. This is an ongoing consulting position that has potential to go permanent. You will work remotely for the time being, and eventually onsite in Philadelphia when it's safe to return to the office. This position involves user research in order to fully understand user needs and develop solutions for any pain points, and new ideas. Experience doing UX/UI design for the agricultural industry is strongly preferred! Responsibilities include:• 60% Hands On, 20% Management Duties, and 20% Team Collaboration• Work directly with users and Sales team to Design user interfaces, storyboards, user journeys/flows, and interactions to build web and mobile products• Conduct solid research, create low & high-fidelity wireframes, functional prototypes, provide development with detailed specs, and produce assets and any other deliverables necessary to properly execute your visions• Partner with engineering to create and scale mobile design patternsRequired Skills & Experience include:• 5+ years of product design experience• Experience designing for Mobile (iOS and Android) and Web• Deep understanding of common Web technologies such as React, Angular, Node, Git and experience with REST APIs • Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Invision, Principle, Illustrator• Experience balancing creative and analytical design goals• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media Design, Fine Arts or related field is desired Requirements - Candidates with strong interpersonal skills will be the best fits for this position- Expertise with design software applications and tools- Create Wireframes experience desired- Wireframes experience- Deep understanding of Digital Strategy- Digital Designs experience- Detailed and have the ability work independently- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience - A portfolio demonstrating UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work - Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite - Experience using Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools) - Understanding of prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing The Creative Group (TCG), a Robert Half company, matches creative, digital, and marketing professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a freelance, project or direct-hire basis.
