Excellence In Everything We TouchPosition SummaryUnder the direction of the Director – Performance Management Catastrophe Services, leads and maintains relationship with designated client contacts. Serves as key account liaison supporting and measuring Service Level Objections and the Statement of Work. Protects and expands market share and sustain existing revenue through client relationships, including making sales contacts, formal client presentations, and developing proposals.Responsibilities Leads development of client relationship within assigned area Develops and implements sales programs, procedures and strategies designed to achieve budgeted sales volume Builds sales by prospecting for new opportunities with existing client and generate income by nurturing existing customer relationship Manages client relationship to maximize product expansion on large accounts Drives interest and sales through strategic selling techniques Makes Sales presentations to catastrophe client Remains current and aware of market trendscompetitive practices and customer needs Represents the corporation at conferences seminars, and industry meetings Maintains and updates accurate information in the company’s Salesforce.com and operating system Meets and exceeds assigned quota and goals Attends industry functions and upholds professional image of the corporation Improves sales skills through courses and seminars Upholds the Crawford Code of Conduct.Requirements Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 6+ years of Account Management experience required Previous experience managing, supervising, or delivering services required by clients Previous experience with delivery of claims handling services and/or supervising those that do. Excellent knowledge of all Crawford products and services, general insurance and risk management principles, terminology and practices Excellent management and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong negotiating techniques and sales closing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Very good organizational ability Personal computer skills, understanding of databases. Establishes and maintains high level interaction with external decision makers (C-level executives). Maintains interaction with internal Crawford resources for exchange of information, solving problems, negotiating and persuading others to use Crawford services. Requires frequent travel. Additional sales training may be required from time to time Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational ServicesAbout UsPeople taking care of people.
