Sign on Bonus: $1,500 after 12 months continuous employment

Job Description:

Operate dump trucks, 8 axle - tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver (dump &/or spread) materials — maneuvering trucks into loading and unloading positions.

Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical equipment is in good working order — preforming pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Follow the rules of the road and safety procedures for transporting goods — inspecting loads and surroundings to ensure safety of people and properties.

Maintain working logs pertaining to load and dump times, pit sites, and job sites — obtaining receipts &/or signatures for transports.

Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles — completing vehicle inspection reports, incident reports, and other reporting as required.

Requirements:

Current Class A CDL license and DOT Medical Certification

3 years’ experience

Clean, insurable driving record

Drug free and able to pass drug testing

Available to work every weekday and overtime including Saturdays as needed — we’re busy!

General knowledge of local area and various gravel pits a plus
