Auto/Composite Body Technician 1Singer Vehicle Design (SVD) isseekinganaccomplishedAuto/Composite Body Technician tojoinourworld-classteam. We areredefining whatan iconicperformanceautomobilecanbe, and ourskilled Body Technicians arethe artisansthat bring our“re-imagined”bodywork to life.

As a SingerAuto/Composite Body Technician 1,yourmeticulous attention to detailwill be critical.Youmust be able todo all bodywork, adjust and align body panels, fabricate,repair automotive chassis, and your work must be flawless. The bar is high, so you will need experience working with composites(carbon fiber and fiberglass),a willingness to strive for perfection, andbe able tomultitaskin afast-pacedenvironment.We arecultivating ateamof experts, so you must also be a team player, communicateeffectively, andbe able to follow detailed work instructions. You will also be responsible formaintaining both accountability and accurate work documentation through the "start to finish" composite bodying process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Align/trim composite & metal body panels to desired gaps and flush.

Adjust and repair vehicle chassis as necessary to fit panels.

Bond composite panels to vehicle chassis.

Work to build schedule, ensuring there are no delays in the production cycle.

Communicate status of vehicle progress clearly to the Bodying supervisor.

Operation of company vehicles and industrial machinery in support of providing completed company products.

Assist in special projects as required, and assist other body technicians and co-workers as requested.

The ideal candidate will come prepared with:

A minimumof(3) years of Autobody experience, ideallywith prior Automotive Restoration experience.

General automotive knowledge.

General knowledge of composite (carbon fiber and fiberglass)bodywork, ideally with experience inComposite/ fiberglass repair.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills,with the ability toexpress ideas clearly and actively listen to thoughts and ideas of others.

A highlevel oforganizationand attention to detail.

Able to work 40+ hours per week,andovertime as needed.

Theability to work in a shop environmentandmaintainaclean, safe, and orderly work area.

The ability to be aTeam player who takes direction and instructionsand always has a positive“can-do” attitude.

The ability to detect errors and correct them through proper procedures and channels.

Basic understanding and use of the MS Office Suite.

High school degree or equivalent.
