Production Operator

Established Commercial Print and Mail facility is looking to welcome a new member to our Production team. Prior experience is preferable but not necessary.

Responsibilities(may include but are not limited to):

Read and understand each individual ‘Job Ticket’

Locate all proper information and paperwork for job presented to you

Knowledgeable of the clients and the specific material each client utilises

Accurately check all components for each project

Run respective machines at the anticipated speed for each project

Ensure all material is completed and in shipping Dept. promptly

Prepare trays in advance on folders and high-speed insertions before needed

Scan jobs to ‘Job Board’ for accurate status’

Restock all machines with sufficient supplies

Organize all material for smooth identification for mailing process

Follow written instructions.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff.

Exceptional organizational skills.

Work well independently as well as part of a team.

Strong English reading and writing skills.

Dependable and reliable.

Know basic computer skills.

Able to stand for majority of a shift as well as lift 50lbs regularly.

Great at solving all types of challenges (problem solving).

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
