Responsibilities
  • Possess Army systems or acquisition program support experience associated with contract management, acquisition program planning, requirements development, cost estimating and analysis, budget and financial management, systems and software engineering, logistics support planning, and test and evaluation support.
  • Support development and the preparation of acquisition requirements packages (ARP) for all contract actions as required.
  • Provide program analyses and assessments, technical studies/reports, and work-related products.
  • Prepare, review and update program documentation in support of milestone decisions and other acquisition process reviews.

Qualifications
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of related work experience Preferred Required Experience Experience with Procurement Portfolio Management Tool (PPMT)
  • Experience developing Acquisition Requirement Packages, PALT metrics, Procurement Portfolio Management Tool databases, and contract strategies.
  • Experience in establishing of contract milestones in coordination with the requiring activity and the Army Contracting Command (ACC).
  • Experience in document writing during the Integrated Product Team process.
  • Experience participating with Program Status Reviews through the Program Executive Office and their staff.
  • Participate with various milestone and programmatic reviews.
  • Act as a liaison between the PMs and ACC.
  • Experience with risk analysis on contracting milestones.
  • Subject matter expertise in impacts of new contracting regulations/guidance. Ability to initiate acquisition strategies and plans.
  • Experience developing, maintaining and tracking acquisition program baseline documents.
  • Ability to develop spend plans and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to initiate long range plans and program accomplishments relating to program objectives, taking into account any known or potential budgetary, schedule or technical constraints.
  • Knowledgeable with DoDI 5000.02 and all acquisition streamlining reform initiatives. Experience with systems life cycle performance requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting
  • A minimum of six (6) years experience as an Acquisition Specialist is required
    • Substitutions: Four (4) additional years of related experience will substitute for Bachelor's degree

The successful candidate and possess and be able to maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance, as a qualification and condition for employment. For Colorado Residents
