MAJOR DUTIES
  • Provide Pre-Sales and Post-Sales support through working closely with technical engineers
  • Understand and effectively present our security platform and solutions
  • Create and deliver compelling demonstrations of our products and solutions
  • Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape
  • Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain current technical knowledge, participate in technical communities of interest
  • Identify problems in customer environments; effectively engages customers at the technical field and technical management levels
  • Effective in customer-facing engagement, and in writing, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Attend trade shows and provide presentations online and offline
  • Collect feedback and identify technical improvements
  • Developing technical documents and proposals (e.g.: RFP Responses, RFI, BOMs, quotes, etc.)
  • Become the point of contact and answer all technical questions regarding proposals, installations, configurations, products, and services
  • Account responsibility for all lead technical activities. This includes building relationships across customer's network operations, engineering, and delivery departments to document their infrastructure, understand their challenges, and seek out potential projects
  • Support our Sales Team assisting them with their technical needs with opportunities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Technology, Business, or related field
  • Eight (8) or more years’ experience working as a Systems Engineer or Systems Integrator
  • Proven successful experience in dynamic, high growth environment or start-up company
  • Senior Technical Sales Engineer having good understanding and hands on experience across the full spectrum of Cyber Security solutions, (Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security) and general IT Infrastructure products and solutions especially
  • Experience working in an MSP/MSSP Technical Sales Engineer role
  • Be able to travel up to 25% required within the US region (Post Covid)
  • Demonstrated experience in Networking and Network Security products including Managed Detection and Response, Next Gen Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM Solutions, SOAR, Cloud Security, End Point Security, Vulnerability and Penetration Testing Services
  • Demonstrated ability to discuss the financial and business implications of solutions
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences including C-level executives (CIO’s CISO’s, CXO) in small and large group settings
  • History of success delivering Proof of Concept or pilots in a pre-sale’s environment
  • Experience in understanding and proposing network and security design, migration strategy of perimeter firewalls, Wired/wireless, mobile access, and email security solutions
  • Understanding of Cloud based solutions such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with governance and compliance issues and management/reporting solutions and requirements. Working knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, FERPA, CIPA, GDPR, etc.
  • Skill set that includes technical level experience with one or more of the following vendor products: Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, Rapid7, etc.
