Description The Creative Group is looking for a stellar Graphic Designer with excellent packaging and production experience to join our Atlanta-based client for a long-term contract opportunity. You will work alongside the creative team to create assets for print and digital design (primarily print). This is a 40hr/week opportunity, remote for the time being (but looking for an Atlanta candidate who could eventually come onsite).PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Logo and packaging design, production and printing
  • Catalog design, production and printing
  • Promotional product design, production and printing
  • Event/trade show booth/POP design, production and printing
  • Create PDF instruction design, production and printing
  • Ability to create digital renderings and mockups to support any of the above items
  • Product photography and color correction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendor and internal team
  • Juggle multiple high priority projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Work with third part print/corrugate vendors
  • Manage design production timelines and logistics through to completion
  • Identify and act on opportunities to apply creative approach to all subject matter
  • Ensures brand standards are being adhered to across all projects
  • Participating member in the creation and development of ideas across various platforms
  • Contributing member in creative/brainstorming sessions to identify new ideas and concepts; ensures execution and completion by creative team

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience working with an agency, marketing services group or in-house corporate setting
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Thorough understanding of the creative and design process, including print production
  • Ability to use design programs to create mock-ups and communicate ideas
  • Ability to create and maintain timelines, and work with other designers/production artists and freelancers to meet established deadlines
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects at once; and to shift priorities based on business needs
  • Deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven; ability to work with limited supervision
