Salary : $125k to $150k base plus bonus.

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Department: Finance

Reports to: CEO & COO

Position Purpose: To ensure long and short-term financial goals are met and that sufficient debt and equity capital is available for growth.
  • Provide financial statements, information, analytics and advice to the CEO & COO that allow them to make the best decisions to allow ASAP to fulfill its mission, vision and goals.
  • Participate in and provide support information for seeking investment or loans.
  • Manage cash and investments to ensure available resources to support growth, keep borrowing costs low and maximize return on invested assets.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions
  • Provide information to department heads so they can increase revenues, margins and net income.
  • Ensure proper internal controls and adherence to GAAP.
  • Review & manage contract management with clients & 3rd parties
  • Manage immigrations policies, process, and controls.
  • Oversee human resources, employee benefits, and open enrollment.
  • Manage relationships with lawyers and advisors for contractual matters and employee labor law.
  • Specific Responsibilities: Develop short term and long term Finance department strategies, objectives and work plans consistent with ASAP’s goals and business strategies.· Create strategies, objectives and work plans for the finance department to achieve the annual and long-term goals of ASAP that are affected by financial information· Provide information and analysis to department heads and CEO & COO for preparation of the financial plans that accompany the annual and long-term strategies for achievement of ASAP’s goals· Develop and change as necessary internal controls as the company grows and its needs change· Develop and change finance policies consistent with achieving ASAP’s goals· Identify needed systems improvements and plan for their implementation to meet the information and internal control needs of ASAP· Develop work plans for finance department staff to ensure current year goals are met and expected progress is made against multi-year goals Direct the daily operations of the Finance function and staff · Monitor work plans and take corrective action to ensure department goals are met· Hire, train, develop, manage and, where necessary, discipline and terminate finance department employees, as well as direct reports heading other departments· Ensure departments led by direct reports are meeting goals and that the department heads are working to develop their staff· Ensure finance department staff compliance with ASAP’s policies and values· Monitor compliance of department heads and employees of departments reporting to the CFO Oversee progress against long-term goals and day-to-day operations of functions reporting to the CFO· Review, approve and monitor development of strategies, objectives and work plans for the HR, Legal and Consultant Services functions of ASAP to meet strategic plan goals· Review, approve and monitor the annual budgets and capital improvements requirements of the HR, Legal and Consultant Services functions· Recruit, develop, manage, discipline and where necessary terminate the heads of functions reporting to the CFO· Develop the ability of heads of functions reporting to the CFO to recruit, develop, manage, discipline and terminate where necessary their own direct reports.· Monitor day-to-day operations of functions reporting to the CFO Support the organization in Finance initiatives· Provide financial reports and other agreed upon quantitative metrics to department heads on a regular basis· Respond to one-time information requests from department heads and CEO & COO· Identify information requests that should become standard reports for better monitoring progress against goals· Provide information to department heads and the CEO & COO to develop and monitor revenue, expense and capital expenditure budgets· Monitor implementation of and adherence to corporate financial policies, procedures, and programs· Serve as a partner and advisor to department heads as they seek to increase revenue or decrease costs· High-light to department heads and the CEO & COO potential issues and opportunities at the earliest possible point· Other duties as assigned from time to time

    Desired Education and Experience: · Sufficient years of experience in finance or accounting to demonstrate the required competencies defined above and to carry out the responsibilities as described· Sufficient years of management, collaboration and leadership of or participation in strategic planning, as well as operational management, to gain the other specific competencies and confidentiality as defined above· Bachelor’s degree required, with advanced finance, business or accounting degree or certification preferredExperience in a business with multiple locations
