Description The Creative Group is seeking an Online Community Manager for a 6 month, contract to hire opportunity! This is a remote role that will be responsible for building a community (official product forum) where users and other security/networking professionals can gather to have a "delightful online community experience" and talk shop, interact with the brand, learn about the industry and connect with other industry experts through the development and implementation of attraction, engagement and retention strategies.Must haves: Is an expert with online community development and management Will likely be in an Online Community Manager role currently Must have previously built and grown a large online community Job Description:Our client is looking for an experienced Online Community Manager who is passionate about making the online community the place for security and networking professionals to engage, connect, learn, grow and be part of something larger than themselves. The successful candidate will be someone who knows how to build successful and iterative engagement strategies within an online community environment, focused on core content, layout, and attraction and retention, through providing a surprising and delightful online community experience.Responsibilities include:• Build a collaborative, inviting and engaging online community space for customers and prospects• Build and own a strategic online community plan• Attract customers and prospects to the online community through traditional and grassroots efforts• Build retention and engagement of community members through building out thoughtful spaces, communication and identifying community member roles• Source, create and project manage, content• Create and lead community based engagement campaigns• Build, maintain and communicate core community KPIs• Create the online community "voice," leading the community as well as engaging community members 1x1 as neededJob Requirements:• Experienced at building, scaling managing online community• Passion for understanding and engaging our customers• Strong writer and content creator• Ability to work cross functionally across multiple departments to engage internal and external stakeholders• Excellent time and budget management skills• Ability to collaboration and build great relationships with internal stakeholders and customers• Critical thinker and problem solver• Strong technical aptitude• Experienced working with online community platforms• Comfortable and familiar with multiple social media platforms and other martech tools• General CX experience is preferred Requirements Online community manager, social media, branding, customer experience, project manager The Creative Group (TCG), a Robert Half company, matches creative, digital, and marketing professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a freelance, project or direct-hire basis.
