Position Summary: As part of the incentive team, this position will support the Medical Nutrition, Optifast, Oncology and Inside Sales Teams with accurate and timely incentive data. This position provides analytical support by assisting in the creation on incentive tools, reporting and analyses for the field and administering all aspects of the sales incentive process. Includes responsibilities for monitoring and reporting sales data, reviewing territory / area alignments, helping to establish manual percent allocations and executing the sales force incentive plans. The position works with all levels of the 150+ person sales force, including senior management. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and research account assignments across the various sales teams; account assignments directly impact incentive payout amounts.• Execute the sales force incentive plan documents which includes calculating the payment, submitting the payment for approvals, and sending the check request to payroll. Additionally, working with other internal staff to develop individual sales rep communication of payments.• Assist in the development and reporting of management reports associated with business and sales initiatives (including sales contests and programs).• Communicate with the field, management, peers and other personnel in both written and verbal form regarding incentives. Orient communications at a management level, blending technical and non-technical perspectives.• Research and answer questions from sales team members and management regarding all aspects of sales performance tracking.• Use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of data and achieving a clear definition of business needs.• Support the manual allocation process both at a national and regional level and ensure alignment of impacted parties.• Leverage a functional working knowledge of incentive processes to assist in the possible transition of a new software system.• Contribute to the yearly target setting process and ensure that targets are relevant throughout the year and suggest possible adjustments where needed in order to maintain consistency and fairness.• Provide support to newer team members and collaborate with team members on resolutions to incentive data challenges.• Seek and adopt best practices in incentive reporting, make recommendations for incentive processing improvements. Identify opportunities to improve the process and data accuracy.• Assist in the creation of the yearly incentive plan documents and quarterly incentive statements.• Other Duties: Perform other duties and special projects as assigned and directed. Experience and Education Requirements: • BS/BA in business, management or related field preferred• 3+ years of relevant job experience• Extremely organized, disciplined team player who strives for accurate, consistent and fair results• Strong analytical skills and extensive experience using Excel, Power BI or similar programs Preferred Skills: • Incentive background and/or experience in the Healthcare industry a plus• Comprehensive knowledge of report writing, updating, and distribution• Quick learner, with the ability to see the "big picture" and understand data implications • Ability to work independently, with little or no direction• Think strategically, recognizing the inputs and outputs of systems and business processes• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service• Ability to work well in a diverse team and a cross-functional environment The Nestle Companies are equal employment and affirmative action employers and looking for diversity in qualified candidates for employment.
