Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance, test or user manuals for paper, multimedia or web-based publications. Contributes to the timely design, production and delivery/completion of product documentation and document sets.As a member of the technical writing division, you will write, review and produce single books or individual chapters, appendices, etc. of product user documentation and/or courseware. Obtain data and information from the appropriate source e.g. technical staff and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. As a member of our Documentation team, you will create, edit, and update product information for delivery in multiple formats to application administrators and end users. You will primarily use Author-it to produce help systems, user guides, and integration documentation for enterprise-class project-management applications. You will work closely with Programming, Design and Quality Assurance teams, and also have the opportunity to interact with Product Strategy and Support.Required skills and experience include:Bachelors Degree in English, Technical Communications, or related field.

3 to 5 years experience developing software documentation, including help systems, user guides, and integration documents.

Solid writing and research skills.

A high technical aptitude, a positive attitude, obsessive attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and succeed.

Familiarity with complex enterprise-class web applications.

Proficiency with standard Microsoft applications.

Must work well as a member of a documentation team.

Additional skills that would contribute to an ideal candidate include familiarity with:Author-it.

Agile development process.

Topic-based authoring concepts.

Project management tools and concepts.
