Sanitation / QC Assistant

Our company is looking for a focused, detail oriented and industrious candidate to join our team. Ideal candidates will be team-players with a positive, can-do attitude.

The Sanitation/QC Assistant, working an 8-10 hour rotating shift schedule, is responsible for conducting sanitation protocols in and throughout the production line as well as performing hourly quality control checks.

Primary duties include:

- Performing daily sanitation protocols such as CIP

- Performing daily water shutdown protocols

- Testing, recording, and monitoring of quality control checks hourly in and throughout the production line.

- Maintaining quality control equipment which includes conducting calibrations, filter changes etc.

- Collecting and processing water and/or raw material samples for both in-house and third-party analytical testing

- Maintaining department records

- Maintaining high quality standards and working with management if any quality issues arise.

- Complying with all company policies and procedures including safety all while maintaining clean and safe work areas.

- Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- College Diploma or Trade School Graduate is a plus.

- Previous work in a manufacturing environment or food plant operations is a plus.

Physical requirements:

- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time

- Qualified individuals must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/move items weighing up to 50lbs.

- Ability to sit in front of lights for up to 1-hour

General requirements:

- Must have means of transportation.

- Professional appearance is mandatory: well groomed, covered shoes, shorts, and company uniform.

- Health and personal hygiene compliance as stated by the FDA rules and regulations as well as adhering to the Hawaiian Springs Good Manufacturing Practices.
