Job Description As a Senior Project Coordinator Supporting the Sales and Growth team in Cerner Government Services you will coordinate and facilitate work for assigned project teams and provide coordination for standard projects. You will also monitor and report project or team performance against project goals and objectives as well as build and maintain internal stakeholder relationships. This role will allow you to achieve project deliverables and escalate issues that affect project deliverables and provide timely and ongoing communication to appropriate stakeholders. In scope will be to update and monitor project-tracking tools, meeting management and scribing as well as identify process improvement opportunities and to make recommendations.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Health Care, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of project management related work experience
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)

Expectations:
  • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the District of Columbia area
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
