Loan Processor - Support

DescriptionOur Macomb County Mortgage Client is looking for a Mortgage Processor. As the Mortgage Processor, you will work closely with the Loan Officer, Borrower, Real Estate Agents and Underwriters to gather documentation and ensure loans are taken from application to closing in a timely fashion. Additional duties include:Interviewing loan applicants.Assisting applicants in selecting the most suitable mortgage option.

Reviewing loan applications.

Evaluating applicant financial information including salary, assets, debts and expenses.

Calculating applicant credit scores.

Verifying the accuracy of applicant data.

Approving or rejecting loans.

Managing real estate loan documentation.

Ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Submitting a detailed loan package to the Underwriting department.

RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:Experience processing Conventional & FHA loans

Proficiency within Encompass or other Loan/Mortgage software

Have the ability to prioritize work-load

Maintain customer service levels and loan integrity

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
