Job Summary: Signature Consultants is seeking a Automation Tester for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position will be remote during Covid-19 and the length will be 12+ months. The candidate will focus on the design, customization and optimization of test automation for web and desktop based applications. They will partner with various business and technical groups with both digital and mainframe capabilities to pursue and deliver automated solutions that drive efficiency and bring the Testing Services vision and strategy to life. Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field and relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in diverse environments
- At least 4 years of experience in strategy and planning of technical testing capabilities such as test automation or performance engineering
- At least 4 years of experience with Java and VB Scripting
- 4+ years of hands on experience in: o Automation strategy, framework implementation, planning, scripting and execution o Creating technology solutions for business and communicating value o Automation framework (data driven, hybrid and behavior driven development concepts), design and enhancements o Cucumber/BDD - based frameworks o Selenium with Java - Junit/TestNG framework in Eclipse IDE o HP UFT o Version control repo like GITHUB and SVN o Test scheduling and execution on Jenkins, etc o HP-QC/ALM, TFS, JIRA or a relevant defect management tool o Software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality thorough the entire software development cycle.
Desired Qualifications:- 1+ year of financial services experience (Capital Markets, Wealth and Investment Management, Banking, Mortgage, Insurance); prior consulting experience is a plus
- Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications
- Technical competency experience with Test Strategy & Operating Model Development, Testing Center of Excellence, Test Automation Framework Architecture, Agile Test Management, User Acceptance Testing, Organizational Change Management, or Enterprise Data Management
