Senior Principal Software Engineer . This is a 12 months Contract Opportunity for Location Austin TX(Remote). Our client is a leading company.Please review the job description below:Top Skills: Developer, Kafka and StreamSets.Key Responsibilities:- Bachelor of Technology in computer science or equivalent with 14+ years of overall IT experience
- Hands-on experience in few of the below products/platforms (or similar) o Big Data platforms – Hadoop, Snowflake, Greenplum, Teradata o Data analytics platforms: Apache Spark, Apache Flink o Data streaming platforms: Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, Zookeeper, Schema Registry o Data Ingestion platforms: StreamSets, Apache Nifi, Informatica o Enterprise Messaging products: IBM MQ, RMQ o Experience in full stack development
- Experience in scripting in one or more scripting languages like shell, Python, vbs or other languages.
- Programing experience in any of the program languages like .Net / Java etc. will be an added advantage
- Experience on other open-source products on messaging and Streaming & source control
- Exposure to design and implementation of high availability (HA) solution using Hardware/software Clusters.
- Experience working in a globally distributed IT and Business teams
