Job Summary:Analyzes data for existing and potential markets to support the efforts of developing corporate strategies for commercial payment services which include core treasury management services and/or international banking services. May provide information and data to assist with identifying opportunities for product expansion and development, support of vendor negotiations and product administration. May assist with the sales administration functions.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborates with multiple functional groups in the process of developing corporate strategies for commercial payments. Will assist in identifying and analyzing product opportunities, and proposing product recommendations based on potential profitability.May participate in the research and analysis of corporate, industry, economic and political data and trends to identify possible opportunities, and provide valid and useful information to assist in determining the direction of the products' expansion and development.May be engaged in various phases of the development, implementation, operations and settlement process; providing regular written updates to management on projects and issues that are in progress. May provide tangible inputs in the product planning and design process; maintains active participation throughout the release and post-release activities.May participate in the planning, establishing and communication of commercial payment product sales goals and other sales administration functions.May assist Product Managers and Sales Managers with team member education, customer support and product support on developing training courses, designing demos and positioning productsWorks proactively with Product Managers and Sales Managers to assist in developing new products and to enhance and promote existing products. Monitors relationships with outside vendors, as appropriate, in partnership with Operations, IT, Marketing, Legal, Audit, Compliance and other Synovus Bank departments.Helps to develop strategies and programs to encourage new or expanded banking relationships, where applicable.Leverages various information sources to support strategic and tactical business decisions.Oversees critical daily support functions, which include reporting and monitoring activities.May orient, train or review the work of lower level analysts.Interacts primarily with peers in other functional areas, managers and customers, which may involve controversial situations or trying to influence others.Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.Performs other related duties as required.Minimum Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of job specific experience including at least two (2) years of experience with account analysis billing systems and two (2) years of experience with commercial/business deposit products.Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and commercial banking experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Broad knowledge of treasury management and/or commercial bank products, including product life cycles Broad experience in database management Broad research and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks/projects Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft For full info follow application link.Synovus is an equal opportunity employer supporting diversity in the workplace.
