SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor that is safety conscious, able to motivate and promote employees, have excellent communication and technical skills, and promote and support company growth.

Essential Job Duties:

Safety: Support, enforce and ensure that all employees are working safely

Prioritize: Review, approve and submit work orders for production

Quality: Work with Quality Control and Sales Manager to ensure that the products meet all requirements before shipping

Monitor: Schedules, labor needs according to workflow, operating costs, employee actions, cleaning, attendance, training, promotions, and disciplinary actions

Shipping/Receiving: Work with shipping lead to prioritize deliveries and assure on-time deliveries

Reporting: Generate reports by entering and retrieving information from ERP system

Oversee the various work centers and work with the leads to keep work flowing

Work with the management team to promote change/growth and to meet goals

Mentor others to achieve positive results

Qualifications and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

5+ years supervisory experience

Experience in metal manufacturing preferred

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

Must be able to use measurement tools

Experience with workflow processes

Windows operating system, Outlook, Excel

Must be able to enter and retrieve information from ERP system
