Core Java Developer

Job Title: Sr. Java Developer Location: Dallas, TX In this role, you will be responsible for development or enhancements of Control and Business Projects. Responsible for developing code, testing it thoroughly, Support UAT and rolling out change in production. You will report to the lead from Genpact for this function and to the Client Manager as required You should be aware of handling business requests, design related changes, enhancements, meet project deadlines, communicate with business users for clarity of requirements. ResponsibilitiesExpert on Java/J2EE Java resources with significant Spring, Hibernate experience. o Java, j2ee Server Hands on o Micro services o Hibernate, SQL o Web Services (REST, SOAP), o Spring Boot o Spring MVC Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems. Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units. Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc) is needed to be successful in this position. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understand how to access and use JIRA for tickets and update them for project status Work with stakeholders to confirm, validate, understand or clarify the requirements or enhancement requests Be aware of all stakeholders and communicate with them effectively on project status Understand the downstream and upstream applications to assess the impact of enhancements Understand the build process and release process for development, enhancements and bug fixes to be rolled out in production QualificationsMinimum qualifications Masters in Computer Science or B.Tech Team oriented Strong interpersonal and communication skills Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated At least 3 years of solid working experience in core Java and SQL Expert on Java/J2EE Java resources with significant Spring, Hibernate experience. o Java, j2ee Server Hands on o Micro services o Hibernate, SQL o Web Services (REST, SOAP), o Spring Boot o Spring MVC Ability to handle changes and do application development as per the project plan Working with a team as a good team player
