Job Number: R0091958 Configuration Management SpecialistThe Challenge: In order to release sof tware and system changes effectively, organizations need help prioritizing configuration items, including identification of resource constraints and direct team resources for implementation. Whether developing sof tware applications, systems of systems, or b us iness process applications, our clients need a consultant who will take the time to learn the complexities of their Programs of Record and provide them with tangible advice on improvement, mission success, and standard methodologies as it relates to Confirmation Management, Release Management, and Data Management. That's why we need you, a management consultant who can analyze every aspect of your c us tomer's operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision.Empower change with us .You Have:-3+ years of experience as a configuration manager-Experience with configuration management planning, configuration identification, change control, configuration stat us accounting, and configuration audits-Experience with regulations regarding change process and identifying, storing, tracking, and managing configuration items-Experience with JIRA and Confluence-Knowledge of Agile development process-Ability to apply concepts and define hardware and sof tware configuration management processes and procedures-Ability to assist with implementing hardware and sof tware version control processes, policies , and procedures, comprehend basic sof tware concepts, and assist with documenting hardware and sof tware configuration management processes and procedures-Ability to analyze hardware and sof tware version control processes, policies , and procedures, ensure that they are followed, and work independently with minimal direction-Secret clearance-BA or BS degreeNice If You Have:-3+ years of experience with NAVWAR, NIWC, or the PEO C3T portfolio of systems-CMPICM CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.Build Your Career:Consulting at Booz Allen means empowering you to provide your c us tomers with the best support.
