If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG iscurrently seeking a Senior Associate, Cyber Security - Data Protection inTechnology Enablement for our Consulting practice.Responsibilities:Assist clients indesigning, deploying and managing technology and process solutions to reducethe potential of data compromiseAssist clients withdeveloping technical requirements, evaluating vendor solutions, developingarchitecture & design, and testing of data protection and data securitysolutionsAdvise clients inunderstanding the future state problems and challenges in cyber security andwork collaboratively with them to enhance capabilitiesContribute to KPMG'sthought leadership in client organizations and external market placeOperate as a technicalsubject matter specialistBe up to date onindustry trends around cyber risk and data protection practicesQualifications:A minimum of 3 years oftechnical architecture experience integrating data protection software intoclients' infrastructure and applications.Bachelor's degree and/orrelated work experience.Basic understanding ofnetworking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX,mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and applicationprogramming/scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell).Demonstrated experiencein three or more of the following areas (data leakage/content monitoring andfiltering (DLP), secure messaging/email encryption, mobile device security,PKI, DRM, Secure Information Storage) while having a basic understanding ofregulatory requirements and compliance issues affecting clients related toprivacy and data protection, such as PCI DSS, GLBA, Basel II, EU DataProtection Directive, International Cross Border, and U.S. State Data PrivacyLaws.Technical architectureexperience integrating data protection software into clients' infrastructure;network architecture design, implementation and administration.Working knowledge ofoperating systems, virtual machine environments, mainframe security packages,and relational database management systems.Ability and willingnessto travel up to 80% of the time, work in a fast paced, results drivenenvironment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid paceApplicants must becurrently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visasponsorship now or in the future.KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
