Position Summary The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, and packing a portion of each customer's order as it passes in front of them in a safe and efficient manner. This position is fast paced and requires the associate to remain in a refrigerated environment for the entirety of the shift.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toPick correct items for cooler boxes, scan appropriately, and pack items to complete your portion of the customer's orderAdhere to strict safety, quality, and production standardsPay close attention to detail while performing job duties including but not limited to reading labels, selection of product, etcMeet productivity and accuracy standardsProduce a quality work output on a consistent basisMove product from one location to another, following food sanitation and safety guidelinesAssist with general housekeepingWork is done inside a large warehouse area that is free from outside weather conditions but maintains a temperature between 34-40 degrees (Gloves will be provided)Required Skills & Experience Must be at least 18 years oldBe able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hoursAble to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyShifts can include weekends and holidays and/or overtime as requiredHave a strong service orientationBe a team player, including the ability to communicate well with othersAble to work independently with little supervisionMust have basic reading skillsPass a post offer drug screen and background checkPreferred Skills & ExperienceHigh School Diploma/ GEDPrevious experience in warehouse distribution, or similar environmentPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and armsFrequently is required to stand, talk, and listenOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAble to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperaturesCompany OverviewMom's Meals, a PurFoods company is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 20years.
