QA Engineer - Automation - Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a client who is Ranked by Forbes, Deloitte, and Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in the nation, we're growing rapidly and looking for innovative problem solvers to join our team. We are in search for a Remote QA Engineer to support our ever-growing platform by building a framework and implementing automation tests in our code. Though this is a remote role, you are welcome to work out of the following offices: Ann Arbor, MI, Austin and Fort Worth, Texas and New York. As a QA Engineer, you will be part of an integral team, work in a challenging and growing environment, and contribute to the company culture. Essential Duties: Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components Understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases Set up, maintain and perform test automation frameworks and build test scenarios and acceptance tests Investigate customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, testing bugs, and create and managing bug reports Handle technical communications and understand the customers' systems Work with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs Note all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reports Analyze and disintegrate software systems and coordinate with other teams to enhance the overall design Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes Manage the final quality on production release Consistently identify and investigate issues found during testing, and update test cases based on discovered defects Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issuesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 6+ years of relevant experience. Experience creating test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements; Implementing test plans, automation, and validation strategies are your bread and butter Experience testing in Go is a plus Experience with testing tools like Cypress.io for UI testing is a plus Experience working with Timescale DB and Postgres DB is a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
