- Build, and maintain efficient, scalable, reusable, and reliable infrastructure specifically targeted to the cloud environment.
- Design, document, and implement new web service APIs for internal and external services.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Enable integration of our services with external systems.
- Work with scientists and clinicians to understand domain-specific needs
- Ruby on Rails
- NodeJS
- Docker
- Full understanding of Cloud computing and object oriented programming
- NoSQL
- AWS or similar
- MVC, ORM, RESTful APIs
- Git for code versioning
- Linux/Unix shell
- Java
- Python
- Experience integrating and harmonizing genotypic and phenotypic data
- Experience with Bioinformatics
- Masters in computer science or related fields
- Background in full-stack or back end development
- Background in Bioinformatics is HIGHLY preferred
