INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN

Polymer Corporation is a growing, well-financed, $20 million manufacturer of low-volume, close-tolerance, custom plastic parts for blue-chip customers nationwide. Polymer Injection Molding, a division of Polymer Corporation, located in Palmer, MA seeks a first shift, hands-on Injection Molding Process Technician who is eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Skills:

Working knowledge of various types of injection molding machinery

Capable of set up, processing, and troubleshooting injection molding machines

Working knowledge of injection molding machine controls

Must be familiar with many types and grades of injection molding resins

Forklift experience is preferred

Must have a positive attitude with excellent communication skills

Experience in the role of shift supervisor would be a plus!

Other Relevant Skills:

Lean Manufacturing, 5S knowledge and implementation, Mattec monitoring system, Statistical Process Control, MRP / ERP
